Acclaimed Electronic Rock Band Holy Fuck Release New Single “Lost Cool” Today
Announces 2022 Tour including Three Stops In Canada

TORONTO, ON – Today, Toronto’s favourite, unconventional electronic rock band Holy Fuck released their new single “Lost Cool” via AWAL on all streaming platforms. The track features vocals from Madrid-based Electro-Pop artist Lucia Tacchetti, and sees the two artists exploring a retro-cool vibe that harks back to a dark eighties electro-pop aesthetic; shaped by Holy Fuck’s distinctive sound.
Holy Fuck explain; “In the spirit of online collaboration, we sent song ideas out to some incredibly talented artists to collaborate. Lucia Tacchetti brought her amazing voice and jittery synth parts from Spain, cementing the perfect danceable vibe for "Lost Cool.”
Lucia added; "It´s been an honour to collaborate with Holy Fuck and being able to be part of the process. We had the opportunity to do everything remotely and communication flowed perfectly. I worked from Argentina with some ideas and luckily we understood each other super-fast. I'm really happy with the result. Our universes coexist very well. I loved putting some words in Spanish. I am very grateful to the band for making me part of this track and super anxious for everyone to hear what we have been working on, I hope people dance to it everywhere!”
“Lost Cool” follows the release of Holy Fuck’s recent single “Airport Dreams” featuring Sarah Bonito from British Indie-Pop band Kero Kero Bonito. "Airport Dreams" showcases two of today’s most innovative recording acts, combining their talents for something bigger, even when greater forces like the pandemic are physically keeping people apart. You can watch the music video for “Lost Cool” here.
Sarah Bonito sent super catchy vocal parts that were initially intended for a different idea altogether, but further catalysed that which formed "Airport Dreams” in to a frenetic and energetic song that’s the antithesis of being held back or restricted.
The single debuted on Lauren Laverne’s breakfast show on BBC Radio 6 Music as the ‘While You Were Sleeping’ track, and tastemaker outlet Under The Radar called it “an unforeseen delight that brings together branching talents for something new and unexpected.” You can watch the music video for “Airport Dreams” here.
Additionally, Holy Fuck is excited to announce that they will be returning to the stage in February with their 2022 tour. The tour dates will cover the USA, Canada, Europe, and the UK, and are set to kick off on February 4th at the Fortune Sound Club in Vancouver, BC and wrap on May 7th at the Ideal Bar in Copenhagen, DK.

Holy Fuck, composed of Brian Borcherdt, Graham Walsh, Matt Schulz, and Matt “Punchy” McQuaid, have always been happy to plow a distinctly lone furrow.
Playing by their own rules for the past 15 years of their career and five albums, they have become one of the country’s finest, and most influential, exports, with their widescreen, technicolour, crescendo-heavy, and highly danceable sound often finding itself imitated, but never bettered.
Continuing to go against the grain and staying true to themselves, their signature sound has appeared on the soundtracks to Breaking Bad, Mr Robot, Snowpiercer, Chemical Hearts, Invincible, Good Girls, and Cheaters. The band has also toured extensively worldwide including North America dates alongside Hot Chip in 2019, NY’s Brooklyn Steel, and LA’s Shrine Expo Hall.
